2025 Kickoff

Hi everyone,

I don’t know about you, but this time of year always feels rejuvenating. Getting back to the lake is the perfect way to unwind after a long winter. I’ve been down the past couple of weekends working through the usual spring boat projects—I like to have those wrapped up before Opening Weekend so we can just enjoy the lake time. And as you all know, once a boat project starts, the whole space quickly becomes a disaster zone—with tools on every surface. Even while I was digging through the mess trying to find a misplaced wrench, I couldn’t help but feel happy to be back. Our boat has always been “My Happy Place,” and my wife even hung a sign with that phrase in our saloon. It really is true—whether I’m working or relaxing, I’m just content on the boat.

I’m especially looking forward to officially kicking off the season with Opening Weekend on May 17th. It’s a little later this year, but I hope you’ll come out and join the fun. Then, just two weeks later (May 30 to June 2), we’ll host Spring Fling, which is always a great time. Registration for that will be opening soon—stay tuned!

Also, if you haven’t seen it yet, please check out our new website. We’re really happy with how it turned out, and it gives us a great new way to stay connected. If you still need to pay your membership dues, you’ll need to create a login and take care of that in the members area.

Big thanks to everyone who contributed time and effort to make the website a success!

As always, I look forward to seeing you out on the water. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Best regards,
