When my friends, Dave and Holly Brucker and Detrich and Marla Anderson, brought me to Stockton for the first time, they were clear:
"Don't tell anyone. We love Stockton Lake as it is, and don't want a bunch of idiots showing up. This is our secret!"

But I don't think I have betrayed their trust- we love our sailing and cruising friends at Stockton and Fellows, and this article will naturally bring like-minded friends to join us. In fact, I am very happy that 417 Magazine chose to focus on our sport of sailing- I am excited to watch our sport grow here in the Ozarks.
