A September to Remember

September promises to bring some of the most exciting and memorable events of the season. From the endurance challenge of the Ron Plymate Cup to the tradition and competition of the 51th Annual Governor’s Cup Regatta, there’s something for every sailor and member to look forward to. Whether you’re racing, volunteering, or cheering racers on, your participation makes these events truly special.

 Saturday, September 13 – Ron Plymate Cup

Our Annual long-distance race, the Ron Plymate Cup, is a true highlight each year. The course will range between 15 and 25 miles depending on the winds that day. This race always delivers excitement and challenge, giving sailors the opportunity to stretch their legs and test their endurance.

 Friday–Sunday, September 19–21 – 51st Annual Governor’s Cup Regatta

This year marks the 51st  running of the Governor’s Cup Regatta — the biggest sailing event of our season! We are thrilled to be hosting a large turnout across fleets, including:

• Viper Fleet

• J/22 Fleet

• JAM Fleet

• Dinghy Fleet

 Saturday Night Banquet & Awards Presentation

Alongside the racing, join us Saturday evening for the Governor’s Cup Banquet. It will be a night of good food, camaraderie, and celebration. During the banquet we will be presenting awards for the year.

Please be sure to register for the banquet in advance so we can plan accordingly.
